Admissions

Our main point of entry is into the Nursery class at 3+, in the September following your child’s third birthday.  Occasional places occur higher up the school from time to time.If you would like to have a no obligation chat about your child joining our School, please get in touch at admissions@sarumhallschool.co.uk

The Process

The admissions process begins upon registration; we recommend that you register your child as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as the School is usually oversubscribed.  A registration form should be completed here and the non-refundable registration fee of £100 paid.

Visits and personal meetings with the Headmistress occur between October and March, two years before entry, and include a tour of the school.  After this, prospective parents are asked to write confirming their continued interest in a place.

We are currently accepting registrations for September 2026 and 2027 admittance.  Registrations for September 2025 are now closed.

We do not accept registrations before a child is born.

Assessment

Girls entering the school at the age of three are not assessed. From Year 1, children are tested in Mathematics and English and reports from previous schools are requested.

Siblings

The school has a policy of accepting siblings.

Offering of places

Places are offered 15 months before entry. Due to a high level of demand, it is not possible to defer places or acceptance.

7+ Entry (Year 3)

“Why did we choose Sarum Hall? Its reputation and our observations on the school’s value system and pastoral care, and how they raise the girls in addition to educating them. Also their commitment to music, the arts and extra-curricular activities.”
