Clubs and Activities

Clubs

A wide range of activities are available to the girls during break times and before and after school. The girls may start participating in after-school clubs in Year 1, with more choice availble to them as they progress through school. Examples of activities on offer include: theory of music, junior and senior choir, chamber group, orchestra, junior and senior football, netball, tennis, ICT, yoga, photography, drama, craft, chess, cooking, classical civilisations and Mandarin.

Visits and Trips

Full advantage is taken of the school's wonderful location and frequent class visits are made to museums, art galleries, lectures, exhibitions and other places of interest relevant to the curriculum. Girls in Years 5 and 6 are taken on residential visits during the Spring or Summer terms.

Educational Workshops

The girls benefit hugely from the wide range of workshops offered throughout the year, relevant to the topics they are studying. These include: dance, music, drama, history and geography workshops, maths puzzle days and building a scaled Tudor house.
