The school supports the Camden Schools Travel Plan initiative, which encourages families to develop environmentally friendly journeys to school.

Girls are encouraged, where possible, to walk, scooter or cycle and there is provision at school for bicycles, buggies and scooters. For those living further afield car sharing and the use of public transport is encouraged.

On foot

We encourage parents to walk with their children to school, however, for those living further away from the school…

By bicycle

You can plan your journey by bike using the TfL Journey Planner web site. For Camden and the surrounding area there is a dedicated website for cyclists: Cycle routes and maps can be found  here.

Camden Council offers free cycle training for children, families and groups as well as individual lessons for regular urban cyclists who want to make their journeys safer and more enjoyable. For more information visit this site.

By public transport

We are conveniently located in the heart of Belsize Park, Hampstead, close to Swiss Cottage on the Jubilee line and Belsize Park on the Northern line. To plan your journey, please visit the Transport for London Journey Planner.

Buses serving routes C11, 31, 13, 24, 46, 82, 113, 603, 168 come close to the School. The C11 stops at the end of Eton Avenue.

 Camden’s Parking Dispensation Scheme

“Camden Council, after a six-month review of its cross-party strategy on the School Run, has agreed to continue with the policy of reducing dispensation permits for car parking in residential areas in the Borough. Camden will enforce this parking policy. Pay and Display bays may be available in the school vicinity, but there are very few of them. You may therefore be interested to enquire about your school travel plan, which gives advice and support on travelling to school in a more environmentally sustainable way.”
