Belsize Park, London, Friday 8th July 2022: – Sarum Hall School, an independent prep school for girls in London’s Belsize Park, has been shortlisted for two Independent School of the Year Awards.

The Awards, which are run by Independent School Parent Magazine, have been running since 2018 and highlight the excellence of the student experience offered by the UK’s independent school system.

Sarum Hall is nominated in the ‘Small Independent School of the Year category’, and the ‘Best Independent School for Healthy Eating’ category. Finalists and winners will be announced later in the year.

Miss Vicky Savage, headteacher at Sarum Hall, says:

“We are delighted that we have been nominated in two categories for these prestigious awards. The staff at Sarum Hall work incredibly hard to ensure that our small school offers the very best in education. We are particularly thrilled to be nominated in the healthy eating category. Food is an essential part of life at Sarum Hall, with food-technology lessons, cross-curricular initiatives and outreach projects, ensuring everyone who attends the school has an appreciation of the importance of eating well and sustainability. To be nominated at the end of our academic year is a wonderful way for us to celebrate our success as a school.”

“Why did we choose Sarum Hall? Its reputation and our observations on the school’s value system and pastoral care, and how they raise the girls in addition to educating them. Also their commitment to music, the arts and extra-curricular activities.”
