From the Headmistress

Our motto of spirit, happiness, success underpins our philosophy that every child needs to be happy to learn and we have a strong focus on positivity and values at the core of our education. The Golden Values of kindness, courage, respect, honesty, fairness and resilience ensure that  every girl develops as an individual with a strong sense of purpose and moral compass both in the school community and society beyond.

We help children to know who they are and encourage them to engage with their future and understand their role in shaping the world in which they will live and work.

“I believe that children can thrive in education by experiencing a balanced, engaging and relevant curriculum that prepares them for the world in which they live.

“At Sarum Hall, we aim to instil an enthusiasm for learning and a thirst for knowledge; children are naturally inquisitive and we use this innate love of learning to develop and inspire creative, independent thinkers.

“High academic standards are maintained by offering a broad range of lessons and activities to ensure that each girl works hard to achieve their own personal success. The size and structure of Sarum Hall facilitates exciting and motivating lessons so that girls benefit from cross-curricular and practical learning.

“A strong emphasis on pastoral care throughout the School enables the girls to feel secure and happy, whilst developing an empathy and understanding of those around them.”

“Why did we choose Sarum Hall? Its reputation and our observations on the school’s value system and pastoral care, and how they raise the girls in addition to educating them. Also their commitment to music, the arts and extra-curricular activities.”
